Before knowing how to change the name on the Fesco bill, it is important for us to understand why we need to change the name on our electricity bill. As per Government of Pakistan guidelines, when a person buys a property, ownership of all utility connections on the property must be transferred to the person buying the property. Therefore, if you are buying a property, transfer electricity & gas connections to your name immediately.

Follow the given procedure for changing your name on your Fesco bill so that you can change your Fesco bill name without any hassles. In the bill name change process, you can adopt any online or manual procedure.

Online Application Process for Bill Name Change

If you want to transfer your existing electricity connection to your name, you can easily submit your application through the online process from the comfort of your home.

STEP 1

First, open the ENC system website and click on the Change icon on the right side of the screen.

STEP 2

After clicking on the change icon, an online application form will open in front of you. Now Click on the Change of Name box & proceed further.

STEP 3

Inform about the information requested by the department.

  • Enter Your Bill Reference Number
  • Enter Your CNIC Number
  • Register Your Mobile Number

STEP 4

After that, in the current name field in the application, enter the name that is present on your bill in the current situation.

STEP 5

Enter the paternity or marital information on the bill in the box provided.

STEP 6

In the new name box, enter the name to which you want to transfer the power connection.

STEP 7

Enter the Father/Husband’s name of the person to whom the connection is to be transferred.

STEP 8

Scan the documents required for the application and attach the soft copy of these documents in the prescribed format along with the application.

  • Attested Copy of Applicant’s CNIC
  • Copy of Applicant’s Electricity Bill
  • Copy of Property Documents

STEP 9

After attaching all the documents click the submit option and submit your name transfer request.

Offline Application Process For Bill Name Change

Regarding the change of name on the bill. You can also submit your applications through manual or offline processes. Get the name transfer application form from your nearest Fesco office are customer service centre. After receiving the application form, read it carefully and enter the required information such as your name, your National Identity Card Number, your full address and phone number, etc.

After filling out the application form submit it to the Fesco office or Fesco customer service centre along with some necessary documents. After applying the concerned department of Fesco will check your application and after a few days, the name on your bill will be changed as per your request.
